I think you are vastly overestimating the muslim rage machine. Terry Jones' quran burning non-stunt gathered a shitton of world wide media attention. What did the muslims do? The ones in the west shrugged their shoulders and said how disappointed they were. The ones in third world shit holes did some rioting and some of them got shot by their police. Not one hair of Terry Jones' head was harmed.

You think sending a abusive email pretending to be the WBC is going to do any good? They get dozens of emails like that every day.

It's going too far.
Islam is nothing to be toyed with or manipulated. The muslim world is educated, albeit differently than we in the Western world are educated.

Let's be smart and not trifle in the matters of a global scale, and instead stick to local level things.

The trick is to kite someone even more self-righteous than they are.

How do we kite Joe Lieberman, Tim Huelskamp or Lynn Jenkins into these guys? Find a vulnerability in one of these guys (or, fuck, some local official/postmaster general/dog catcher/whatever), attack them HARD and do it as WBC.

The issue is going to be finding extremist Muslims here in the US. The bombings you hear about on the news represent a VERY small portion of Muslims who have extremist views. Even if we have the full hatred of the Muslim community on Westboro's head, the chances of non-extremist Muslims actually DOING anything about them is minimal.
